Join Pascal and Véronique Léger at the Chant de Blé farm in Saint-Epain to discover how they grow saffron and make flour. They'll show you their trade. Pascal and Véronique grow a variety of crops: soft and hard wheat, rapeseed and sunflower, clover and alfalfa, millet, barley... They also cultivate saffron. Crocus sativus bulbs are planted in the heart of summer to flower in October, the month of harvest. Then enjoy a gourmet saffron and flour interlude at L'Epine restaurant in Azay-Le-Rideau with Chef Sébastien Bruzeau.
