Annulation : Concert-lecture : Richelieu – Andreini, la rencontre

To mark the 400th anniversary of Richelieu?s appointment as Louis XIII?s principal minister on August 13, 1624, the Collectif Aria Magenta has devised a concert-reading in the form of a radio broadcast. A famous Italian actor, Gianbattista Andreini, met the new Prime Minister in 1624 and presented him with sonnets glorifying ancient actors worthy of being ranked among the saints, hoping in this way to erase the opprobrium with which the Church covered actors. The Cardinal granted his protection to the artist and his troupe, thus initiating the French theatrical flowering of the Grand Siècle.
From this meeting Marlène Guichard and Jean-Christophe Saladin imagined a reunion between the two men in a program entitled "Les Voix d?en-haut".
