Bertrand is as tight-lipped and jealous as a louse! He suspects his wife Sophie of cheating on him with Olivier. His relationship seems to be heading straight for the wall.
So he hatches a Machiavellian plan to get revenge and make his wife jealous: leave her, so she'll come back to him. To achieve this, he hires Cindy, a young actress, to play the role of his mistress.
A victim of his own strategy, he soon finds himself caught between Cindy, who takes her role a little too much to heart, and Sophie, who is far from having said her last word.
