Description
Lecture by Tal Bruttmann, historian specializing in violence during the Second World War. Why did the German army commit massacres on French soil in the spring and summer of 1944? Were they the result of desperate acts by a routed army, as is often claimed? Who were the perpetrators of these massacres? These are just some of the questions Tal Bruttmann will be shedding light on in our new temporary exhibition starting in June.
